Social proof is a powerful marketing tool for increasing brand equity – particularly when it comes to a decision as big as building your dream home. That’s why Platinum Homes wanted to share real stories from the people who had benefited from their customer-centric approach to the design-build journey. To bring these stories to life, Platinum Homes commissioned us for a video production project.
With a fresh, functional website in place, Platinum Homes asked us to create video content that emphasised their reach around the country. Now operating in 14 locations, franchisees are united in their approach to designing homes around the things that matter most to those who will live in them. The videos needed to communicate this commitment while highlighting the specific strengths of the local teams. The mission was to develop a series of video production concepts focused on the people behind a selection of very different homes.
From a carefully planned investment property in Taranaki to a large Rotorua home for an extended whānau and beyond, we let the new owners tour us through their new homes. We wanted them to speak freely to the camera about their Platinum experience. For those unaccustomed to video production crews, this process can be somewhat uncomfortable. However, with a sensitive direction style and savvy location planning, we put the interview subjects at ease and let them interact naturally with their Platinum build partners.
Through the use of slow-motion tracking shots in our video production, we communicated the pride felt by these Platinum clients as they toured us through their finished homes. Cut together by our editors with beautiful close ups, the genuine commentary from the owners, ensured the quality of each home was properly highlighted.
